So as it's our one of our first EVER blog, we thought it would be a great idea to introduce to you the man behind the Snap Movement.

You are formally introduced to Mr Munir, lets see what he had to say shall we?!

Q1. Hey! So tell us a bit about the man behind Snap - don't be shy!

Munir: Umm what can I say? I don't like to describe myself... But I try to be down to earth, nice, honest and funny sometimes. lol! The man I am when I'm running Snap Clothing is probably different to the person I am personally or at home. I like stuff like reading, playing sports, music, traveling and movies. I try to keep active as much as possible and play a lot of sports. I travel a lot and visit all sorts of countries and love learning about new cultures. I only started reading a year ago and I love it, I always have a book with me to occupy my time. Movies because it keeps my imagination flowing. I am a big fan of all music. Oh and I am a bit of a child, I love playing computer games!

Q2 So how long have you had the idea of the Snap Movement for and is it something you've always wanted to do?

Munir: Well I have had the idea of Snap Movement for about 4 years now. Time flies, but it has been a working progress. I have tried to perfect my product and ideas so when it is released every is perfect. It has been a long time coming but now is the right moment! Never in a million years I thought I would get into fashion and t shirt printing. I was bored one day as a student and was thinking I needed a hobby-then bang! I had an "eureka moment" and then, as they say the rest is history!

Q3. How do you dress and is fashion important to you?

Munir: I feel I have a good dress sense. I try to keep it simple but nice! Jeans and a nice top will do me but recently, I am repping carrot jeans with shirts. I don't dress to impress but wear what I feel comfortable with and only wear for the occasion. If I am at homing chilling then I will dress down even if I went to go to the local shops. But if I know I'm out and there's a sense of occasion then I would dress up. Fashion is important to me because it can make a difference and it gives me an identity.

Q4. Random question of the day.... if you could take 3 items on a desert island with you (food & drink not included) what would they be and why?

Munir : My music on an mp3 player, my beard comb and maybe a book.

Q5. Do you have any one that you aspire to be like or at least guides you in the right direction?

Munir: Oh definitely, my Dad and Granddad because they were both independent and successful men in whatever they did. Even if I became and achieved 10 % of what they have done then I would be happy. I am a religious guy so I try to follow the footstep of Prophet Muhammed. I am my own person and I try to inspire myself and to be the best that I can be.

Q6. Some up Snap in 3 words?

Munir: Unique, quirky and fresh.

Q7. And what's on the cards this year for your company?

Munir: Well I am hoping to release 3 ranges by the end of the year and there will be more ranges of clothing. The blog will be continuously updated with some great ideas and writing. I will be doing some charity projects, got a few merchandise I am working on and then take it from there and see how successful it is!

Hey crazy people! What’s happening? So for our 2nd interview we had the pleasure of finding out a little more about a young and very talented artist, that we’ve had the pleasure of working with for our designs. Enjoy!

Snap: Hey Yiunam! Your name's pretty cool by the way - does it have a meaning to it?   

Y: No it’s just a typical Chinese name!

  Snap: So for our readers, tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do?  

Y: I am a freelance illustrator based in London, specialising in high- fashion, portraits and figurative drawing.   

Snap: When did you know you had a passion for illustrating?  

Y: I have been drawing since i was 4 years old, drawing has always been a passion to me, seeing something you' ve drawn come to life is really satisfying!  

Snap: Have you been asked to illustrate for anyone, you've thought OH WOW! (Apart from Snap of course)

  Y: At the moment I am discussing a project with a celebrity stylist based in Germany to illustrate a portrait for his shop. I have also been invited by Vauxhall fashion scout to illustrate London fashion week this year.  

Snap: So imagine you're on a deserted island and you're allowed to take 3 items (food and drink not included) what would you choose and why?  

Y: I would bring my laptop for drawing, lots of DVD’s and a tent to sleep in!  

Snap : Do you have a life plan or are you just taking each day as it comes?  

Y: I am planning to move to Hong Kong which was where I born, after I finish my degree.  

Snap: Where do you get your ideas from for your drawings and do you have any favourite things to draw?  

Y: I don’t get my ideas from a single place, I am more inspired by the simplicity of brush strokes and the beauty and contrast of water colours how they can be interpreted into a flare of a dress the shadows and contrast.
